Digital Cell Morphology System
An in-vitro diagnostic device designed to automate manual microscopy in a diagnostic laboratory. It uses robotics and AI to digitize Blood and Urine samples to enable AI aided remote review. It generates a pre-classified report of blood and urine with accuracy. This report can be accessed and approved from anywhere, ensuring timely and accurate results to meet patient's needs.
The Yumizen D20 has 2 modules.
1. Shonit: An AI application to analyze blood cell morphology which identifies and pre-classifies WBCs, RBCs and platelets in a peripheral blood smear.
2. Shrava: An AI application to analyze urine sediment to identify and pre-classify multiple elements present in urine sediment.

- AI-assisted analysis- Automated WBC DC, RBC morphology, and platelet morphology reporting with visual evidence.
- The Microscopic view enables the pathologist to virtually “see” the slide as if it were under a microscope.
- Stain – The analyzer is compatible with all Romanowsky stains.
- Smear - Shonit is compatible with both manual and automated smears.
- Sample Preparation Quality Check - The system provides feedback on the quality of slides for each sample analyzed.
- High Throughput – Yumizen D20 can scan 20 slides per hour for blood analysis. It can scan 40 samples per hour for urinalysis, where it takes 25 FOV (Fields of view).
